Maintenance:
Shuttering pamels need to be coated by shuttering oil before each application in order to ease depaneling and prolong the application of panels
STRUCTURE:
Shuttening boards are manufactured of three adhesive-bonded layers of wood (chinese fir) The exterior layer consists of four side-bonded lamellas (which may also be glued one behind the other) running in the direction of the panel while the intermediate layer is made of transverse strips of wood, framed by longitude and front cover strips
SWELLING & SHRINKING BEHAVIOR:
Wood pamels are subject to the natural timber properties of swelling and shrinking in appropriate climatic conditions, associated with the absorption and release of moisture. In order to avoid pamels moving or irregularities through swelling, especially near edges, it should be observed before use that the timber moisture content of the shuttering pamel is adjusted to the surrounding climate. With extreme climatic situations we recommend watering or storage of the units in the shade, for example, before use. Guarantee claims based on climatic / weather conditions, natural physical and chemical properties of the shuttering pamels in connection with alterations in shape and surface are excluded. Information on the concrete surface and uniformity is to be understood within the scope of formwork possibilities, the swelling and shrinking values of the materials and the specific type of timber or panel properties. |
